African Boxing Union (ABU) Expresses Deepest Condolences Following the Passing of Promoter Sadah Kasonso

TANZANIA. – The President of the African Boxing Union (ABU) and Vice President of the World Boxing Council (WBC), Houcine Houichi, issued a heartfelt message of condolence on behalf of the organization following the sad departure of prominent Tanzanian promoter Miss Sadah Kasonso, head of Kemon Sports Promotion.

In an official statement addressed to the Tanzania Professional Boxing Regulatory Commission, the boxing community, and her loved ones, the continental leader highlighted the invaluable legacy Kasonso leaves behind in the sport.

“On my own behalf and the African Boxing Union family, I extend our deepest condolences to the Tanzania Professional Boxing Regulatory Commission, the entire boxing fraternity, and her family on the passing of promoter Miss Sadah Kasonso,” expressed Houichi.

“Her dedication to the growth and promotion of professional boxing in Tanzania plus Africa at large will be remembered with great respect. During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with you, the boxing fraternity, her family, and all those whose lives she touched.”
